Autumn & Winter Flu Vaccination Programme 2026/27
Seasonal Flu Vaccine Information for Season 2026-27
- Pregnant Women
- All Children aged 2 or 3 on 31st August 2026
- Primary and Secondary school children from reception to year 11 (available via the School Vaccination Team)
- All Children in a clinical at risk group from the age of 6 months to 18 years.
We are expecting our flu deliveries to arrive early to mid September for these groups. Booking links will sent as soon as possible to those eligible. If you do not have a mobile phone, please feel free to ask Reception to book an appointment.
From 1st October 2026, the following groups will be eligible.
- All those aged 65 and over.
- Those aged 18 to under 65 in a clinical risk group.
- Those in a long stay residential care home.
- Carers in receipt of Carer’s Allowance or those who are the main carer for an elderly or disabled person.
- Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals.
- Front line workers in social care settings, without an employer-led occupational health scheme.
We are expecting our flu vaccinations for these groups, to be delivered towards the end of September and are planning our Flu clinics for early October. Booking links will be sent out as soon as possible to those eligible. If you do not have a mobile phone, please feel free to ask Reception to book an appointment for you.
