Appointments

Appointments can be made online, or by calling at or ringing the Surgery. Emergencies take priority at ALL times.

Children under 16 years should be accompanied by a parent or other responsible adult.

Practice Nurse

A Nurse will be in attendance during most surgeries for attention to dressings, injections, removal of stitches, ear syringing, health promotion and chronic disease management.

She will also be attendance during the special clinics. Please make an appointment.

Practice Phlebotomist

Blood samples are collected by specially trained staff on weekdays between 09:00 and 10:30hrs. Please telephone or call into surgery, the Receptionist will try to arrange a convenient appointment. Please note, the Phlebotomist cannot give medical advice or discuss your treatment.

Telephone Advice

If you want some advice from the doctor or nurse over the telephone then please ring for a telephone appointment time.

Cancellations

If you cannot attend an appointment for any reason please inform us as soon as possible in order for us to give the slot to someone else.

Bus Service

The Thorpe Practice provides a bus service three mornings a week; Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10-12.  All patients are welcome to use this service at a cost of £2 return per person.  Wheelchair access is available.
